Our Building Process

There are over 1,000 individual components that go into the construction of the average home, but for simplicity’s sake, we’ve divided the process into three easy-to-remember steps:

1.) The Foundation is Poured
The first step of the process occurs when the foundation of your new home is laid. Depending on what type of home you purchased, either a shallow hole will be dug and a flat foundation will be poured (slab) or a deep hole will be dug and a deep foundation will be poured (basement.)

2.) The House is Framed
During the framing stage your doors, windows, interior framing, and roof are all installed. Plumbing and electrical conduit are also run throughout your home.

3.) The Drywall is Installed
This is your home’s final phase. In this stage, the cabinets, carpet, light fixtures, drywall, interior doors, and hardware are all installed. Your appliances are brought in and put in their proper places, your home is painted, and a professional cleaning crew cleans the home from top to bottom so that it’s ready for you to move in.
